I do that! (well, kind of)
It's like when you have to visit your kids school or something, so you write down all your questions.
It may sound brutal, but I once wrote out a list of everything my husband did that drove me mad, and how it made me feel. He couldn't interrupt, and I was able to think hard about
exactly how I felt, with no emotional blurting or interrupting, and every area gets covered.
A top method all round.
