The thing that bothered me is everyone in the movie say Anakin got seduced by the darkside.
Although in my opinion,it think he didn't had any choice.
He got visions and nightmares about Padme dying,just like he had of his mother.
So he knew something was gonna happen to her.

Palpatine told him a story about a sith so powerfull he could save people from death,however he didn't know if that story was true or just to lure him to the darkside.
I think Anakin had no other choice to join Palpatine to save Padme.
