Purple Hysteria
Lightened eyes, sleepwalking holiday eyes,
The sky bright and blue, yellow and red,
Where are the flowershops these days,
And the girls with daisies in their long swinging hair.
The tree branches shade us in the new age,
Free love between us, inside us,
Yellow and red, and purple, and grey,
The rainbow lights your eyes, the old fashioned way.
You scream, I run, forwards after you,
My heart fast and pounding, like our Monday sex before work,
You laugh, this hysteria has taken us away,
Like the time we met, San Diego, remember that day?
Nothing else to do, we lay under the sun,
Which is now becoming a moon as we stare,
Smoke fills our lungs, purple fills our eyes,
We wish away today, and remember our yesterdays. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |
