if I google andre hazes these are the first 2 images I get:

as you can see he drank himself to death basically...
his songs are mostly about how bad life is, wife leaving, problems, writing to a dead mother, abandoned children, making wrong decisions ...
people here eat it up, it's called "smartlappen" (songs of hurt)
they are so bad that you just HAVE to drink to be able to hear them ;-)
