That was very nice of you to clear that up Dy, thank you - I do appreciate it.
And Tiggr - if I were 25 years younger, I'd be all over you :p hehe
Hello Antihero. Nice to see you again.
BTW: Tiggr, I really do have to disagree with your idea about children being tested as an adult, but for a completely different reason. It is my view (skewed as it may be) that children have the right to be children, and as adults, we should protect that and allow it. They always want to be older and able to do what the bigger kids do. The beauty of childhood though is that they get to live it. If they didn't - think of all the things they would miss....
Toilet papering a house when they're 14... pool-hopping in neighborhood pools when they're 15.... going to the local golf course and driving around golf-carts at midnight ay 16... disobeying their parents when they are away - and not getting caught.... getting high on 2 hits from a joint....
Those kind of things are never the same when you're an adult.... that kind of fun is part of what teaches you morality... it gives you a building block, AND a lot of fond memories to look back on when you're older. I don't think it would be fair to take away the mistakes we make as kids... I enjoy thinking about mine.
You wouldn't do those things if you were married and had children.
Anyway, just my two cents. Forgiveness? That's between you and your God. I'm just here to make sure that you keep your appointment. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
