Hm, not really, Chrismas has taken so many traditions from so many places that its certainly arguable about whether it would exist without Christianity or the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, plus Santa was the invention of Coca-cola, he may well still be around, as would 'Christmas' trees, at least in Germany. It would simply have a different name, there's been celebrations on the darkest day of the year before Christianity of course.
Today its just the biggest of the gift-giving holidays, personally, I quite like it.
