The thing is synikul, since man has developed over time, so has war. In every act of warfare, a little less elbow grease if you will is neccisary, because man finds new and efficient ways to kill other people. Just look at how war was thousands of years ago...Men would sometimes have to march months, if not years in rugged and harsh landscapes, wearing heavy armor and swords which they would later have to use to kill the enemy cold blooded and personally. Nowadays, the slaughter of millions can boil down to just the convenient push of a few buttons while you sit back and sip on your finest cup of joe... I guess my question Synikul is why is it now that efficency in killing is just now getting to you? Is this where you would just draw the line? "Personally, I'm in favor of democracy, which means that the central institutions of society have to be under popular control. Now, under capitalism, we can't have democracy by definition. Capitalism is a system in which the central institutions of society are in principle under autocratic control. " -Noam Chomsky |
