If any culture that practiced terrible things was unworthy of existence then I doubt that many of us would be in the clear. Feel very free to criticise female circumcision, Synikul, and I'm with you up to that point, but don't pretend that your own culture is so morally upright that you're in any position to say that another culture doesn't have the right to exist. Their culture is about more than female circumcision. 'If we take in our hand any volume; of divinity or school metaphysics, for instance; let us ask, Does it contain any abstract reasoning concerning quantity or number? No. Does it contain any experimental reasoning, concerning matterof fact and existence? No. Commit it then to the flames: for it contains nothing but sophistry and illusion.'
'The heart of man is made to reconcile the most glaring contradictions.'
