New goth band on the prowl - Lilac Ambush

Allow me to introduce you to a band that's being hailed as "the second coming of Joy Division". No, I'm not kidding; there really is such band - and they're not going to be a best-kept secret for much longer.

Imagine if there was a 5-piece on the scene drawing comparisons akin to a British 80's new wave band, with a hint of gothic tendencies, but they weren't British, this is not the 1980's, and it's not politically correct to say "new wave" anymore.

Billing themselves as "dark pop" or "dark synthpop", but infused with a rock sensibility, Lilac Ambush has an all-original sound with hints of influence from Joy Division and Soft Cell (although the young 'uns might swear they hear hints of Interpol in there as well).
