Actually I live IN New York, so I can more readily gauge how/why something happened.

Believe me when I say that New York has suffered heavily under Bush's existence as President.

1. Layoffs/Firings - I've seen more jobs become lost than jobs become made in the past four years.
2. Education - Schools are struggling by with children who are highly psychotic, violent and often unable to understand the concept of morales because of piss awful parents. These same schools are on the verge of closing, have lost NURSES and are even having issues with Sports related afterschool crap.
3. Government Support - Where is it? I don't know, and guess what? Neither do the people who work for the government. They were supposed to get assistance from Bush, yet they did not.

And by the way, sour, if you notice on the map how in New York there's that one spot with blue near the west-north-west section? It's called, I do believe, Wyoming county(I hate county names, I'm in Livingston which, gag, supported Bush). Within it is Rochester, one of the major population centers of Western New York. It's kind of like a mini-Buffalo, and where the Fast Ferry was going to be.
