While I can't dispute your imputation of the dangerous of carelessness and apathy, White Lilly, that was not actually what the poem was about. It was, when I first started writing it, meant to be a picture of the universe from the Purposeless and blind indifference as well as the meaningless mechanistic existance/view point of Azathoth, the Daemon Sultan. But later on I changed it to be merely an expression of the philosophical principles Azathoth represents. However since Azathoth means different things to different people (ask any Occultist or psychologist) I will leave it at that.
