Why do you overgeneralize the whole wide world as being "a desolate landscape of pain and torment"? I see the world as a beautiful creation in which we can enjoy it's immense beauties that it affords us and take advantage of the very breath we are taking now to pour out our happiness that we are alive and get to experience life right now.
I LOVE this world as I have been heaped blessing upon blessing in this life. That doesn't mean I have been without pain. Far be it. My life has experienced much pain, yet I CHOOSE to be happy. Happiness is a choice and it is this very happiness I choose and wish you could do the same.
