Right" is a subjective term. Let's take the slaughter of the indians as used in Synikul's other thred for example. Why was this a "bad" thing? Sure, the indians didn't like getting killed, but saying it is "wrong" has no basis except for religious values such as "all human life is sacred". Humans are just smarter than average animals, and we don't hear many people scream at the death of any animal now, do we ? Life in and of itself is not what is important. Quality of life is what's important.
Might doesn't make right, might makes things possible to achieve.

Might does not make right, because right is subjective.
Example:
I use a tank, take over your home and make you stay in your house. You must eat what I say, do what I say and all that. If you don't I beat you up/hurt you/torture.
I have the might, thus I would be right.
However you would not consider it "right", but rather wrong. You would rebel against the so-called right, whether that is internal or external it matters not. |
....or I could have saved myself the trouble typing all of that above out and just quoted this in the first place.
