I won't explain how exactly I know that the future is impossible to "change". I won't delve into the more insane and perhaps mentally broken statements that would, in turn, result in you screaming out that I deserve some medicine shoved down my throat to keep me quiet and content.
But allow me to explain why I consider the future an always changing, yet impossible to change thing.
Right now the future is set in stone. While we're futzing about everything that is and will is happening in all other times, everything has happened.
Now if we introduce a "wild variable" into the mix, such as someone seeing what lies into the future, then the future and the surrounding times would all change to reflect what in turn would result from the introduction of the variable.
Basically:
1+1=2
That's the timeline right now. 2 is known, 1+1 is happening, and due to restricted mental and physical abilities most beings are only able to see the 1+1.
Now if we add in a variable:
1+1-1=1
AS you can see the variable has changed the outcome, although this change is INSTANT and again humans can not see that it is changed, because they're yet again restricted.
Now time itself, and reality, is far more complex than a mere 1+1, but due to the simplistic and logical might of math that is how it will, and perhaps always will be.
Thank you and good night!
