1. Except Clinton never gave any satisfactory reason for the bombings, so "Wag the Dog" was a reasonable conclusion.
2. That happened in the last 2 years of his Presidency -- what about the 6 years before that?
3. The national security of the US comes before ALL considerations for the POTUS, including his own career. If Clinton had broached the subject of Afghanistan bombings and been rebuffed by Congress, that would be one thing. But he didn't even try. If US lives are at stake, it is completely unacceptable to say "I didn't even try because the GOP might say no." No, the narcissistic Clinton was too wrapped up in his own political career survival to care to much about US security.
