Loki held the troops back. The rain dripping down their faces did not hide the aura's at all. The lit the entire battle field, casting little flickers across the unholy black of Set's armies. "ARCHERS!" The back lines came forward, 100 archers all looking out.

"Sir, we are just inside a safe range to fire. I'm afraid they doubt our strength from this distance." Loki smiled at this.
"Let it rain arrows upon them."
All the archers raised their bows. Hundred yards was nothing for what they had planed. They charged their shots and then released them, all into the clouds above them. A piece of silence fell over the battle field. A minuet or two had passed.

"What happened?"
"Don't worry Loki, you'll see." And as he said this, little yellow glems of light began to drip down out of the clouds, fluttering above like tiny little butterflies. There were hundreds, thousands of them dancing above. They were glorious little things, capturing the attention of all who noticed. Suddenly they all died and in their place, arrows fell. Thousands of arrows, heads as fine as atoms, pierced threw anything the hit. They landed into the shack of Set's men, landed all around the area. A rain of metal.

All the archers sat their looking over the devestation they had caused. "See, i said so." THe archers then grabbed another arrow and pulled it back. The main guy aimed for the window of Set's shack. HE released, hoping to hit straight for Ticonious. The arrow bulged with power and glew like a shinning beacon across the sky. MAny other of the exalted followed with a similar shot, thou taking out many of the flying creatures in Set's arsenal. First attack had began.
