A 24-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man in Pendleton last week.
Carl Lindsay, from Sandwich Walk in Walkden appeared at Salford Magistrates Court on Saturday, charged with the murder of 38-year-old Stephen Swindells of Rockley Gardens, Higher Broughton.
Mr Swindells was admitted to Hope Hospital after being found in a collapsed condition in a car park on Gore Street in Pendleton on Thursday 27 February. He later died in hospital.
A 31-year-old man from Farnworth and an 18-year-old man from Bolton have been released without charge.
