I think if history has taught us anything it's that the way people VIEW homosexuality is learned and influenced by the culture. According to you, in the very puritanical america of the early 20th century, there really shouldn't have been any homosexuality because it was considered so vile and looked down upon. But even in times when homosexuality would get you in jail or even killed, there have been homosexuals- how do you explain that?
