With reference to your comments on rule number one - it's only an election year in the USA. This board is global, not national.

Regardless of that, I think such posts would have been absolutely fine when this was the "World Events" board since the US presidency does indeed have international repercussions. However, it's changed, and it's now the "Serious Discussions" board, which previously was just a moderated chat room, for want of a better analogy. We need to rethink our placement of posts.

The multiple posted articles guideline can perhaps be given a certain amount of lee-way, but JLB, you posted two near-identical articles (Hitler/Fascism and the left) which I thought would perhaps better be posted within the same thread.
