Im not sure any1 really understands it. ive been doing physics for a few years now and im still not sure. its probably best to think of the electron as being neither a particle or a wave, its something else more complicated. however the particle and wave model are useful models, which can be used to describe the electron, sometimes the wave model is more appropriate, other times the particle one is better used.
