We all chose our own destiny. If you don't like the principles of Christianity then you can not follow them but you should judge them on there own merit not rebel against them just because they look like rules. I don't follow the bible entirely (it would be impossible to anyway its contradictory) but I do follow my heart. Always be true to yourselves.

PS Your right that there would be less wars if everyone was an individual MM but if you follow what Jesus or Buddha says they would be impossible.
