i'm split on this question. in some ways i believe that its good to introduce your child to a religion and see how they feel about it when they're older. at least introduce them to some good morals if nothing else.
i was raised jewish but turned to witchcraft about 5 years ago. i had major problems with many of the beliefs for personal reasons.
but then again...
i know that if i ever have kids, i do want them to grow up with a religion instead of being confused and hearing all kinds of bad propaganda that certain religions promote which they're less likely to listen to with a good healthy religious backing, instead of joining a cult or something.
