Riot Grrl bands rock! I listen to Sleater-Kinney and Bikini Kill and Babes in Toyland all the time! Another good one would be Tuscadero although they are more light and happy in a sarcastic sort of way! I often feel like the only guy I know that gets into this sort of music....
