*She stood up on the seat of the chair but still wasn't able to reach to the top of the chair's back. She walked back over to the edge of the seat, looking down at the four or five foot drop. She stepped off of the edge, planning to use the air as steps, as she was accustomed to doing.*

*A small squeak escaped her lips as she fell, landing in a heap on the floor. A sharp pain jolted up her arm.*

OW!

*She laid there, breathing hard, until two things occured to her. One, she had felt pain. Two, she was breathing. Neither had happened in quite a few years. She awed at the sensation of her lungs moving in and out, and the pain slowly subsided.*

*Her thoughtful reverie was broken by a creature that seemed to be panicked and blinking her eyes furiously, squeezing them shut then pausing to look at something, then screeching and moving on to something else to repeat the whole process. She stood, rubbing her shoulder a bit.*

*She watched the odd creature fluttering about like a chicken with its' head cut off, and started giggling again.*

*She stopped abruptly when she noticed a mirror on the opposite wall, and saw her reflection. As she slowly made her way over to the square of glass, it grew smaller and smaller. The now tiny mirror only showed half of her face at this distance, but it was enough for yet another wonderful discovery.*

*Her cheeks were a delicate shade of pink, and her lips were a dashing red. Her eyes and hair, which had slowly lost their pigment the longer she was a spectre, had returned to their former golden hues. Her hair was yellow and combed smooth. Her eyes were a liquid green, with the flecks of amber that gave them a golden hue.*

*She awed in front of the mirror, studying her clothes, which too, were once again a brilliant white silk with no holes or tears. She had completely forgotten that there was anyone else in the room.*
