Lou Reed, former vocalist and guitarist of the Velvet Underground and an avid Edgar Allen Poe fan, has a new project in the works that should be very interesting for music and literary followers alike.
Hitting stores in January 2003 is the conceptual album entitled, "Poe-try". The CD will feature many of Poe's classic works set to music. Fans can expect to hear some familiar voices, too. Willem DeFoe, Steve Buscemi, and David Bowie are just a few of the readers scheduled to make appearances.
