You all should know how I hate to sound insensitive, but I must be so here. I HATE RETARD MOVIES!

Not retarded movies, but retard movies. Forrest Gump, Sling Blade, I Am Sam, etc. The reason I bring this up is because I just saw a preview for a show called Radio. Cuba Gooding Jr. will play a retard (mentally handi-capped...there is a phrase for the mentally handi-capped. It's retarded.).

ANYONE can play a believable retard. Like Edward Norton did in that DeNiro flick (yeah, he was only PRETENDING to be retarded but that's my point). There should be no more awarding of this shit, no more great critic reviews, NO MORE RETARDS. Sure, I don't mind if a film contains a retard (Something About Mary, Cube), but I am tired of this Other Sister bullshit where the film sort of revolves around a retard. I am DONE with it.

I didn't mind Forrest Gump the first time I saw it and I even liked Billy Bob Thorton's demented version of a retard story with Sling Blade. But rewards they deserve not.

They might be patronized and called special, but they really aren't. Retards are anything but, and there should be no more films about them.
